5 Ways to Maintain Your Glowing Skin While Travelling
We all have nice skincare routine with all the skincare products from cleansers, peels and exfoliants to masks, serums and moisturizers. However, when you are packing for a trip, you have lesser space to accommodate all your products and hence you have to make a choice on which ones to take with you.
The change in weather and a lot of travelling leads to dryness, dullness and tired-looking skin. You might even end up having breakouts if you do not take proper care as needed. Well, fret not! Here are some of easy ways following which you can keep your skin healthy and glowing throughout your journey.
So, read through and thank me later!
- Carry a Moisturizer with SPF 30+
Travelling involves a lot of exposure to the sun which leads to tanned and burnt skin. Therefore, to prevent skin tanning and to keep it healthy and glowing, make sure you carry a high SPF moisturizer (SPF 30+ preferably) with you. Keep it your purse and apply it before you start off with your makeup routine.
- Prep Your Skin
Prep your skin a week before you head out for your trip. Take extra care of it by exfoliating, pampering it with Dead Sea masks for removal of dirt and dead skin cells, and keep it hydrated. Think of the place you are going to and how its weather may affect your skin and then pack your products that you will need there the most. For instance, if it is going to be cold there, make sure you carry an ultra-hydrating cream for face.
- Make a Checklist
If you are really beauty conscious, leaving behind an important skincare or hair product can hit you like a catastrophe. Packing smart is necessary and that is why you cannot obviously take everything along. Therefore, it is better to plan out what products you will need exactly on your trip and make a checklist of it before you start packing.
- Keep a Travel-size Toner
While you are travelling, you do not have time to pamper your skin much. Carrying a travel-size toner in your purse can keep your skin fresh and glowing. All you have to do is spray it on to your face after every time you cleanse it. Make sure your toner has rosewater or cucumber extracts as they are both very refreshing for the skin.
- Pack the Products in One Toiletries Bag
If you want to avoid the hassle of looking for your skincare and hair products, makeup and brushes, I would suggest you to get a toiletries bag. Make a separate compartment for it which you can easily reach out without much struggle and find everything in it you need on the way. Doing so will enable you to not miss out your skincare routine even on the way.
